Exhibits    Sandstone Visitor Center, New River Gorge National Park - West Virginia
The space of this exhibit was used to convey to visitors how integral the New River has been and continues to be to our daily lives. As it discovers the human history that evolved around the river it also explores environmental issues, natural history and its many uses.

This transformation was accomplished by using massive structures laminated with phenolic resin graphics while using 3D lettering to suggest a forested river gorge. A curvilinear counter equipped with educational interactive displays serves as a barrier to artifacts while digital prints and silk-screened text panels were mounted directly to the interior walls. Natural history models were incorporated along with a 3D fiberglass topographical map and sandblasted sandstone exterior signage.
